Home is where the heart is, yet as so many of us who love a good meal know, the quickest way to the heart can be through the stomach—or taste buds. Our culinary services team is dedicated to nourishing our residents, body and soul, with tasty, heart-healthy meals.
To celebrate, we’re hosting a special “Caring is a Work of Heart” culinary event, and invite you to join us for a delicious meal and to learn about the benefits our residents receive from our nutritional strategy. Mark your calendars for Friday, February 17th, from 10:00am - 1:00pm, when Chef Ryan Chute offers you the chance to experience the great flavor and warm feeling of a delicious meal with our culinary team.
Ryan Chute has loved his time here at Bethesda Gardens and feels blessed by the opportunity to bring fresh, home-cooked meals to residents every day. He and his team strive every week to bring new and unique items to the menu that still feel like the comfortable food our residents’ have enjoyed since childhood.
“Food has long been a way in which people show each other how much they care for each other, and when you put your heart into the food, and prepare a menu with your residents’ backgrounds, life experiences, and longtime favorites in a healthy-good-for-you way, you can’t go wrong!” he says.
Ryan has been in culinary management for more than 12 years. He graduated with an Associate’s degree in the Culinary Arts from The Institute of Phoenix. He has worked in restaurant settings, country clubs and retirement communities before starting work here at Bethesda Gardens Phoenix. A native of Phoenix, he is married to his lovely wife, Michal, and has two beautiful children, Olivia and Enzo.
